FHP Master Trooper Joseph J. Bullock

This is a Tribute and Prayer for our Hero.
May he be forever at peace.
His selfless and Honorable career reads like this:
Trooper Bullock was born in Warren, PA where he graduated from Lemon Bay High School in Charlotte County. He then went on to serve four years in the United States Air Force as part of the security force units with duty stations in South Korea, Saudi Arabia and South Dakota.
Trooper Bullock began his career with the Florida Highway Patrol assigned to the 99th Recruit Class in Tallahassee, upon graduation he was assigned to Troop L-Fort Pierce District, where he served his entire career. He also became a field training officer, helping to shape new recruits
In September of 2019, Trooper Bullock was honored as the Fort Pierce district’s trooper of the month, for the heroic aid he rendered to an entrapped crash victim during a serious rollover crash.
At his funeral Col, Gene Spaulding, Chief of the FHP had this to say, “Joe, in your selfless and honorable drive to represent family and the badge, you were the trooper we should all strive to be, ”as his voice was quivering.
Trooper Joseph Jon Bullock was shot and killed at approximately 10:15 on February 5, 2020, while assisting a disabled vehicle.
Trooper Bullock received the Law Enforcement Medal of Honor.

We gathered in ceremonies across this Great State to Honor his life – service – and memory.
We know that our Hero will find peace and comfort, dwelling in the house of the Lord forever.
