TSgt Joseph Celli

His Honorable Service Career Reads like this:
Joe Celli was a World War II Army Veteran and served as an engineer of a heavy equipment unit whose job was to build roads and transporting supplies.
After Joe retired from serving our great country, he began his second career by moving on to drive long haul trucks and was able to work his way up the ladder, to president of the trucking company.
So now Joe retires from trucking and chooses to give back to his fellow Veterans by helping disabled veterans and his community. Since he was blind in his later years, he used new technology to teach himself and other veterans how to survive in a dark world. He was even able to team up with a program called VetDogs, that would help blind veterans receive service dogs.
In his “Spare time” Joe was active in:
1- Martin County Zoning Board
2- Distributed toys and bicycles for children
3- Received the Veteran Hall of Fame medal from Florida
4- He was the President of Seatrain Lines, Inc
5- Founder of Big Heart Brigade
6- Knights of Columbus member
7- lifetime member of the American Legion
8- VFW Post 10066 (Service Officer)
9- Disabled American Veterans
10- Am Vets
11- Blind Rehabilitation Center (Blind Veteran’s of America).
It is with great Honor that we remember Joe with his Veteran Spotlight, as we thank him for his Service, Duty, Dedication and Sacrifice to our grateful Nation

We gather today, to Honor our fallen Hero Joseph Celli
We celebrate his life, and remember his devotion to his Duty and Family.
We will forever keep the legacy that he leaves behind, in our hearts.
We have never met our Hero, but his service to our Country was Heartfelt and Honorable.
We stand here to Honor his life – his service – and his memory.
We know our Hero will find peace and comfort, dwelling in the house of the Lord forever.
Rest easy brother, – your Tour of Duty is complete.
